"A.D."A friend sent me a link to this trailer for a new animated zombie movie. It looks quite impressive. The animation has a cartoonish feel but also dark and grungy. I think this could really freak you out once you get into it. Plus, the way they did the blood looks really nasty. Hopefully we will be seeing this movie come out in the future and I’d like to suggest they also do it in 3D. That would be awesome to see the blood flying at you in 3D. Ahhh one can only hope.

Nice Tattoo

Nice Tattoo

Some girl posted this on Facebook. If you don’t recognize it already, it’s the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies book cover in tattoo form. This is actually a girl from New York named Stephanie’s tattoo.  She said it’s a little swollen here but it still looks hot to me!  Stephanie has shown dedication and respect for zombies and Jane Austen at the same time. Way to go Stephanie for being a super badass chick! Much respect.

Natalie PortmanI can hardly believe it but they are going to make a movie from the book, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I can’t wait for this to come out. I think it will be scary, romantic and funny at the same time. To make it even better, Natalie Portman will be starring in this movie. I think Natalie Portman will make a wonderful Elizabeth Bennet. Elizabeth’s character is very smart, and stubborn and I think Natalie Portman will be able to pull it off quite well. I will keep you posted if I hear any new details! Havent ready the book yet? Don’t worry this movie isn’t set to be released until 2011. Doesn’t it make you wish there was a way to cryogenically freeze yourself until 2011 so you don’t have to wait?

white-zombieFilmmakers have long been inspired by zombies. The earliest of these films was white zombie which was made in 1932. Bela Lugosi plays the villian who uses voodoo to turn a young women into a zombie.
Since then there have been many great movies that were inspired from the idea of the zombie. Some argue maybe the best zombie movie ever is night of the living dead. It was directed by George Romero in 1968. He created what most people think of when they think of a zombie. The slow moving dead that have risen to eat humans and can only be killed by shooting their head. George Romero went on to direct and write Dawn of the Dead, another zombie masterpeice.

zombie-warsMatt Busch is a well known artist in the entertainment industry. He has worked on many illustrations for Star Wars. This  series may  be his best yet. He has managed to zombify Star Wars and I could never have imagined it would be done so well. He adds a grunginess to the poster without losing the original feel of Star Wars. Its pretty amazing.
