Dawn of the Dreadfuls
I posted about this book awhile ago when it just came out. Recently I came upon this trailer for the book. It’s worth watching even if you aren’t planning to read the book. My favorite part is when it shows the ninja star that is obviously made out of tin foil. This trailer is pure awesomeness.

This is for those zombie readers out there who aren’t so interested in regency England. The book is NOT intended for the faint of heart. There is lots of bloody, gruesome action in this one. I went on the website and they let you preview the first few pages on there. I read them and it seems pretty awesome to me so check it out!

Dawn of the Dreadfuls
Imagine attending a funeral only to find the deceased sitting up in his coffin. This is just the beginning for the people of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls. Written by Steve Hockensmith, this book is a prequel to the quite popular Pride and Prejudice and Zombies novel. It goes through Elizabeth Bennets teen years and how she learns to become a zombie slayer. If you are a fan of zombies and romance then this is definitely one you should check out. I can hardly believe it but they are going to make a movie from the book, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I can’t wait for this to come out. I think it will be scary, romantic and funny at the same time. To make it even better, Natalie Portman will be starring in this movie. I think Natalie Portman will make a wonderful Elizabeth Bennet. Elizabeth’s character is very smart, and stubborn and I think Natalie Portman will be able to pull it off quite well. I will keep you posted if I hear any new details! Havent ready the book yet? Don’t worry this movie isn’t set to be released until 2011. Doesn’t it make you wish there was a way to cryogenically freeze yourself until 2011 so you don’t have to wait?

Seth Grahame-Smith is the author and has managed to intertwine the old love story with the undead. The book is also full of illustrations in color which is a definate plus. Pick it up at a book store near you.
