A demonic zombie is very frightening because it is a corpse that was reanimated by a demonic force of hell. This zombie will do the evil bidding of the demonic entity that summoned him. It has eyes that glow red with the fires of hell. It has immense power and has the ability to throw hellfire at its enemies. It will stop at nothing and feels no pain. Because its reanimation is powered by hell, destroying the brain will not stop it. This is the most dangerous of zombies. It gets the maximum of five brains. I don’t have any information on how to stop this species of zombie. Please let me know if anyone has anymore information out there. Thank you!

A mutant zombie was transformed into a mutant either by genetic engineering or maybe a toxic waste spill. There are many possibilities as to the look and powers these zombies can possess. Some may be able to walk on ceilings or some may even be able to fly! They could have some memory of being a human left but most of the time they don’t or it is severly repressed. These are usually powerful zombies once they have completed their transformation stage. During the transformation, however, they are susceptible to attack. In general, mutant zombies are aggressive and fast. This makes them one of the more dangerous types of zombies to deal with. Many times they will have regenerative powers so if you cut an appendage off it may grow back! Don’t underestimate a mutant zombie. It’s hard to tell what kind of attack they will try next. It is this unpredictability that makes them so dangerous. They can however be stopped by destroying or removing the brain. This zombie gets 4.5 out of 5 brains for danger rating. That’s pretty darned dangerous. Time to start peeing yourself!

Zombies are a bigger influence that you might think and are even on the minds of scientists. I heard an interesting podcast on NPR about Canadian mathematicians who were trying to predict how epidemics spread by using zombies in their model. Nice. You can read about it here http://www.scpr.org/programs/loh-down-on-science/2010/01/04/zombie-science/.
Interesting out come, those crazy Canadians! Oh no offense, I mean “crazy” in a good way. I love Canada. Throw another shrimp on the bahbie, eh.
Zombie Meredith wanted to buy some brain flavored zombie mints for a Christmas present (How thoughtful!) but was wondering what brain flavored zombie mints actually tasted like. Just so happens our friend Bacon Chris had just purchased some and let us try them. Zombie Meredith and Bacon Chris popped the bfzm’s in their mouths and they were out just as fast as they were in. Then spitting and gagging noises ensued. They thought they were disgusting. Bacon Chris went so far as to offer his coveted bacon chocolate to get rid of the foul taste. This made me think twice about trying them but I thought this might be the only chance I get to experience “brain flavor”. So I reluctantly placed mine in my mouth, ready for the terror. But to my astonishment, they weren’t half bad. Kinda creamy, kinda sweet with a dash of rotten flesh. They were amazed that I didn’t spit mine out. I was amazed that they actually tasted like brains! How did they do that? Zombie Meredith said maybe I’m a real zombie. I don’t know, I sometimes feel half dead at work. Maybe… I recommend getting these as a party gag (literally) or to test which one of your friends is a real zombie.

Terry Border is an artist in Indiana. He has a very unique style. He sells greeting cards and prints of his artwork on his website. Although most of his art is not zombie related he is still pretty awesome. I never thought peanuts had brains before but now I see that they do! Unlike a human zombies are not wounded easily as they do not need many of the key processes of the body that a normal human would have. Zombies are basically eating machines they have little to no brain power other than to attack the living by stumbling about with little or no coordination. Zombies in general are unable to use weapons with the exception of the occasional blunt object they primarily attack by biting tearing and scratching. The only effective way to kill a zombie is to destroy the brain or remove the head. Remember to keep this in mind the next time you have a zombie encounter. There are, however, some exceptions to this rule. Please see our species section for more weaknesses specific to each zombie species.
